Closing geodesics in C1 topology
Given a closed Riemannian manifold, we show how to close an orbit of the geodesic flow by a small perturbation of the metric in the C topology.
متن کاملA Simpler Proof for the C1 Connecting Lemma
Like the closing lemma, connecting lemma is of fundamental importance in dynamical systems. Based on an earlier results of Xia [X], we give a simpler proof for the C1 connecting lemma in this paper. Our results are also more general than the original ones of Hayashi [H].
متن کاملThe C Closing Lemma for Nonsingular Endomorphisms Equivariant under Free Actions of Finite Groups
In this paper a closing lemma for C1 nonsingular endomorphisms equivariant under free actions of finite-groups is proved. Hence a recurrent trajectory, as well as all of its symmetric conjugates, of a C1 nonsingular endomorphism equivariant under a free action of a finite group can be closed up simultaneously by an arbitrarily small C1 equivariant perturbation.
متن کاملRevisiting C1
We show that logic C1 cannot be extended to a paraconsistent logic in which the substitution theorem is valid. We show with the help of an answer set programming (ASP) tool called clasp, that C1 is robust with respect to certain three valued paraconsistent logics with some desirable properties. In particular C1 is robust with respect to three-valued logic P2, a logic for which some of the De Mo...
متن کاملC1 neurons: the body's EMTs.
The C1 neurons reside in the rostral and intermediate portions of the ventrolateral medulla (RVLM, IVLM). They use glutamate as a fast transmitter and synthesize catecholamines plus various neuropeptides. These neurons regulate the hypothalamic pituitary axis via direct projections to the paraventricular nucleus and regulate the autonomic nervous system via projections to sympathetic and parasy...
